This 2000 Acura Integra Type R is finished in Phoenix Yellow over black cloth and powered by a 1.8-liter VTEC inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is said to have been previously owned by friends of the seller, and the original owner completed a JDM-style front end conversion. Additional equipment includes a JDM-style air box, exhaust headers, catalytic converters, and mufflers as well as a Skunk2 midpipe, a B&M fuel pressure regulator, red Honda badging, a rear spoiler, air conditioning, and a factory CD player. Now showing 29k miles, this ITR was acquired by the seller in 2018 and is offered at no reserve with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Phoenix Yellow (Y-56) and has been modified with a JDM-style front end, a red Honda badge in the center of the trunk, and additional Honda badging in place of the factory Acura emblem. Paint meter readings and close-up photos of paint chips, scratches, and imperfections are provided in the gallery below.
White-painted JDM-style 16″ wheels wear red Honda center caps and Westlake SP06 tires.
The cabin features bolstered front seats and a split rear bench that are upholstered in black cloth(Type D) with microsuede accents and red stitching. Amenities include electric windows and locks, air conditioning, a JDM-style shift knob and boot, and a factory CD player. The seller notes that the car was previously fitted with a bolt-in roll cage, which has since been removed and the mounting points were patched with high temperature and water resistant silicone.
Instrumentation consists of a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles, of which approximately 700 have been added by the seller.
The 1.8-liter DOHC B18C5 inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and has been modified with a JDM-style air box, exhaust headers, catalytic converters, and muffler as well as a Skunk2 midpipe and a B&M fuel pressure regulator. New NGK R spark plugs were installed and fluid changes were performed in early 2020. Two cold-start videos can be viewed here and here, and footage of compression tests completed on each cylinder are available via the links below.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An Exedy Stage 2 clutch was installed during prior ownership. The seller notes that the muffler has a dent, and the lower exhaust header heat shield has scratches that reportedly occurred during shipping from Japan.
Manufacturer’s literature and two keys are included in the sale.
The August 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history with three owners in New Jersey. Walk-around and cold-start videos can be viewed below.
