This 1997 Acura Integra Type R is a Canadian-market example that was delivered new in British Columbia and previously sold on BaT in May 2022. The car was subsequently imported to the US and acquired by the seller in August 2022. It is finished in Championship White and is powered by a 1.8-liter VTEC inline-four mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Modifications consist of a JDM front-end conversion, an aftermarket rear valance and side skirts, Skunk2 Racing camber arms, a BuddyClub damper kit and front roll center adjusters, an aluminum radiator, revised exhaust components, an Exedy clutch, JDM Recaro seats, a Mugen pedal set, and a touchscreen stereo. This Integra Type R is now offered at no reserve with a factory steering wheel and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Championship White (NH-0) and has been fitted with a JDM front-end conversion and an aftermarket rear valance and side skirts. Additional exterior details include a J’s Racing carbon-fiber front intake duct, Type R graphics, red Honda badging, a fixed rear wing, and a single-outlet Fujitsubo exhaust system. Paintwork to the left front of the car under prior ownership is noted.
Body-color 15″ alloy wheels wear Honda center caps and Nitto Neo Gen tires that show date codes from 2021. Modifications are said to include front and rear Skunk2 Racing camber arms, a BuddyClub damper kit and front roll center adjusters, and black Honda S2000 CR lug nuts.
The cabin features front JDM Recaro bucket seats upholstered in red cloth along with a rear bench upholstered in black cloth. Wear on the upholstery is shown in the gallery below. Additional features include air conditioning, a touchscreen stereo, a Mugen pedal set, and power windows. The right door lock does not work from inside the car.
The MOMO steering wheel was installed prior to the seller’s acquisition and frames a 10k-rpm tachometer, a 190-km/h speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 232k kilometers (~144k miles), approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. True mileage is unknown.
A serialized plaque is present on the center armrest showing number 446.
The 1.8-liter inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and is equipped with a Koyo aluminum radiator, Samco radiator hoses, NGK spark plug wires, a JDM Integra Type R valve cover, a Civic Type R oil cap, and a Skunk2 Racing exhaust header. Service under current ownership has included replacing the battery and changing the oil. The seller notes the presence of a resonated test pipe in place of the catalytic converter.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car is reportedly equipped with an Exedy Stage 1 clutch.
The Carfax report shows no accidents and lists registration history in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, as well as Florida and Texas.
