Prices for DC2-generation Acura/Honda Integra Type R models have been on the rise all over the world and an eye-catching example is currently up for grabs on Bring A Trailer.
This particular Integra Type R is a 2000 model year example, one of just 1,350 U.S.-spec examples built by the Japanese car manufacturer that year. The car is painted in Phoenix Yellow and while this shade isn’t as desirable as Championship White on DC2 and DC5 Integra Type R models, it is certainly eye-catching and looks to be in good condition in this case.

Powering the potent front-wheel drive sports car is a high-revving 1.8-liter inline-four cylinder engine with a cool 195 hp at 8000 rpm on tap when new. This engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission which sends the engine’s power to the pavement through a limited-slip differential. This particular car also includes a Honda Sankei muffler and mid-pipe and earlier this month, it was updated with a new timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, and battery.
The DC2 Integra Type R is widely regarded as one of the best handling front wheel drive cars ever built and this one only has 46,000 miles (74,029 km) on its odometer. That’s nothing for the little Honda which is known to have a bulletproof powertrain with very few issues.
The car is being sold with some service records, factory literature, spare floor mats, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name. At the time of writing, the highest bid was sitting at $25,500 with four days left in the auction.
