This Acura Integra Type R is #535 of 1,350 US-spec examples produced for the 2000 model year and was sold new in Virginia, spending its life on the East Coast through its acquisition by the seller in August 2018. Less than 300 miles have been added since, and the odometer shows 37k miles. Power comes from a 1.8L VTEC inline-four paired with a factory close-ratio 5-speed manual transmission, and the car is finished in Phoenix Yellow. The timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, brake pads and rotors, coolant, engine oil, spark plugs, filters, and tires were replaced shortly after the seller’s purchase. This ITR is offered with receipts from current ownership, a Carfax report, and a clean New York title in the seller’s name.

Phoenix Yellow paint was specific to the Type R, and the finish is shown up close in several gallery photos below. The car was reportedly involved in a front-end accident in 2007 which required replacing the front bumper, fenders, and hood with panels from another 2000 Type R. The donor car’s VIN tags remain on the replacement panels, while decals showing this car’s VIN are affixed to the non-affected areas of the body. The front chin spoiler was repainted at the time of the repairs. Per the seller the replacement front bumper previously had the grille cut out. It has been reinstalled, but does have a cut line as shown in the gallery.

Exterior features include a stock rear spoiler, Type R decals, a polished exhaust tip, and red badging. Touched-up scratches on the rear bumper are detailed up-close in the gallery. All four factory 15″ wheels were mounted with new tires shortly after the seller’s purchase, and new brake rotors and pads were fitted around the same time.

Cabin appointments include front seats with microsuede bolsters, ebony cloth inserts, and red stitching as well as a stock CD player and ITR-specific checkered floor mats. Red stitching is also found on the rear seats and center armrest.

The mechanical odometer indicates 37k miles. A plaque mounted the center armrest identifies this car as #535 of 1,350 for the 2000 model year. A total of 3,823 US-spec ITRs were built between 1997-1998 and 2000-2001.

The 1.8L VTEC inline-four produced 195 horsepower at 8,000 rpm when new and is mated to a close-ratio 5-speed gearbox and factory limited-slip differential. Receipts for the aforementioned recent mechanical service are displayed in the gallery. A new OEM battery was recently installed.

A VIN tag located on the bottom of the engine verifies that the car retains its original powerplant.

The Carfax report was run during the seller’s purchase in August 2018. Three East Coast owners are noted from new along with several service history records, though the 2007 accident is not shown.
