This 2001 Acura Integra Type R is #145 of approximately 1,173 examples built for the US market for the model year. It is finished in Phoenix Yellow over black cloth upholstery and powered by a 1.8-liter B18C5 inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 15″ alloy wheels, a rear wing, a Skunk2 Racing front camber kit, Bilstein shocks, and air conditioning. The timing belt, water pump and tires were reportedly replaced in 2021, and work completed since the seller’s acquisition in January 2022 is said to have included replacing the valve cover gasket, coolant temperature sensor, and spark plugs. This final-year DC2 Type R shows 97k miles and is now offered with a Carfax report and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Phoenix Yellow (Y-56) and features a front lip spoiler, a fixed rear wing, a power antenna, a rear window wiper, Type R graphics, and red Acura badging. The Carfax report lists damage occurring to the front of the vehicle in an April 2003 entry, and damage to the rear of the vehicle is noted in a September 2008 entry, with no further information provided for either event. Paint blemishes on the rear spoiler are pictured in the gallery.

Factory 15″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are finished in gray and mounted with 205/50 Hankook Ventus V2 concept2 tires. The car is fitted with a Skunk2 Racing front camber kit and Bilstein shocks, and the Type R featured revised stiffer sway bars than the standard Integra. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with an anti-lock system.

The seating surfaces are upholstered in black microsuede and cloth with red accent stitching, and the black carpets are protected by R-logo floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, a digital clock, and power windows. The seller reports that the CD stereo works intermittently, and the passenger door can only be locked manually. Cracked trim and upholstery wear can be viewed in the gallery below.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 97k miles, approximately 350 of which were added by the seller.

The center-console plaque lists this car as number 0145 in the series.

The 1.8-liter B18C5 DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 195 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque. The timing belt and water pump are said to have been replaced in 2021, and work completed under current ownership reportedly included replacing the valve cover gasket, coolant temperature sensor, tube seals, and spark plugs.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. An aftermarket catalytic converter is fitted, and additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale.

The Carfax report lists the aforementioned damage in April 2003 and September 2008 and displays history in Georgia, Louisiana, Florida, Mississippi, and Idaho. A September 2005 entry indicates that the car was registered in a location designated as a flood disaster area by FEMA.
