This 2001 Acura Integra Type R is a Canadian-market example finished in Championship White over red upholstery and is powered by a 1.8-liter B18C5 inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, white 15″ seven-spoke alloy wheels, a rear wing, a front lip spoiler, a CD stereo, and power windows and locks. The car spent time in Ontario and was acquired by the seller in May 2023. This Integra Type R is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, US and Canadian Carfax repors, and Ontario registration.
The car is finished in Championship White and features a front lip spoiler, clear front turn signal lenses, a raised rear wing, a power antenna, a rear window wiper, Type R graphics, and red Acura badging. The Carfax report notes the car was involved in an accident in September 2002 that resulted in damage to the rear, and the seller states the rear bumper cover was replaced. Photos of VIN tags on various body panels, paint chips and scuffs along the body are shown up close in the photo gallery.
White 15″ seven-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 205/50 Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R tires. The condition of the wheels is shown in the gallery. The Type R received larger-diameter disc brakes at each corner as well as a lower ride height when compared with the standard Integra.
The seating surfaces are upholstered in red microsuede and cloth and are complemented by a black center console, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a CD stereo, a digital clock, branded floor mats, and power windows and locks. A blemish is visible on the passenger seat.
A plaque on the center armrest identifies this Type R as #1292 built for the model year.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 230-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 28k kilometers (~18k miles), approximately 70 of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in September 2009, with a note that it “may just be a clerical error.”
The 1.8-liter B18C5 DOHC inline-four features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 195 horsepower and 130 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident in September 2002 and the mileage inconsistency in 2009. History is listed in Ontario with a gap in entries from 2009 until present.
The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a province that does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration.
